Create and execute an impressive grand opening show for the Volleyball European Championship for Women 2015.
In 2015 we had the honour of producing the Eurovolley Opening Show in Ahoy Arena Rotterdam. It became a true spectacle with a multi-talented host, interactive visuals in the stadium and custom music to support the opening.
In the gorgeous Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam, we produced the opening show for Eurovolley, Volleyball European Championship for Women 2015. Using the field and an extra screen as the playground, we had the possibility to turn the playfield inside out and upside down with interactive visuals.
The show included an extensive setup with dancers interacting with the playing field and a glorious selection of recordings of earlier Eurovolley highlights building up to that goosebump moment. The host created a great synergy between the field and the audience by playing on the piano, violin and as DJ behind the decks.

It was a fantastic experience to dive into the history and make the transition to current times. The visuals combined with custom music enhanced this grand opening of the championship. The interaction on the playing field made for an opening show full of surprises and excitement for what was yet to come.
