On Thursday the 9th of June 2022 the online worldwide premiere of Lightyear 0 took place via YouTube. By using an art installation, Plugged Live Shows enhanced this reveal.

New showpage: Celebrating 125 years
We are very proud to announce our newest show page of a large anniversary theatre show. For this live experience, we turned a theatre in Amsterdam upside down. We build a custom theatre rigging system and scenography to cater to the artistic needs of this celebration. You only turn 125 once, right? It became a spectacle full of elegant storytelling, breathtaking performances and festivities.

Telling a story through a series of performances, whilst showcasing the different core values of a company is not an easy task. It was time to think outside the box to avoid falling into cliches. This resulted in a full week of 24 hour shifts to rebuild an entire theatre. All to facilitate top-notch video content, mechanical props, eye-catching costumes and an evolving decor to host a one-of-a-kind performance: custom ballet and contemporary choreographies, a hidden orchestra, fascinating speeches and a big band with two very talented singers as a grand finale.
