Custom made music to fit an intriguing story
Every story can be conveyed to a composition - a symphony of its own kind. When we had the pleasure of working with Ahmad to tell his story, the music was the first point of attention. Since music sets the atmosphere along with scenography, we wanted to get the feeling right.

In this interview with our composer Chris Kuijten we elaborate on how a story is transformed to a beautiful music composition. How are the elements of his life used to paint a picture on the stage and how do we stay loyal to his heritage?
You start with taking a few matters into consideration:
- The background story;
- Soundscape – representing ambience, time and emotional charge;
- Timbre;
- Instrumentation;
- The buildup.
